About Alyssa

Emotion Adventurers is a school-based, social-skills small group for preschoolers facilitated by Alyssa Frers, MA, LPC-Associate, supervised by Louis Laves-Webb, LCSW, LPC-S.  Alyssa is an Associate Psychotherapist with Louis Laves-Webb and Associates in Austin, TX.

Alyssa has ten years of previous professional experience working as a preschool teacher, administrator, and trainer, and has helped children and their advocates navigate the foster care system as both a caregiver and case manager.  Alyssa has a strong passion for helping children increase age-appropriate social-emotional skills and giving caregivers effective tools to nurture their child's development!
